Abstract

In this study, we investigate a microsyringe pump application of a linear actuator using a position feedback control method through the position of the slider. The slider slides the microsyringe directly in step motion with a small step displacement according to the reference input of liquid (pL). Experimental results show that the volume flow was directly proportional to the slider’s stroke. The repeated liquid volume was better linear when using the feedback control loop than the open-loop control. The results showed that Kp: it was due to an overshoot and slow to an oscillation of the slider/piston. These results intent to a significant implementation in MEMS of the linear actuator.
