The Editorial Board of the Journal of Science and Technology – Smart System and Devices is pleased to announce a Special Issue focusing on Advances in Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies. This Special Issue aims to highlight recent research, innovation, and applications bridging engineering, life sciences, and clinical practice to improve healthcare diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation.

We invite researchers, scholars, engineers, medical practitioners, and interdisciplinary scientists to submit high-quality original research articles, review papers, and short communications.

• Biomedical signal and image processing
• Medical instrumentation, sensors, and IoT-based healthcare systems
• Biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine
• Bioinformatics, computational biology, and data-driven medicine

• Clinical engineering and health technology assessment
• AI and machine learning applications in medical diagnosis and decision support

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

• All manuscripts must be original, not under review or published elsewhere. Manuscripts must be written in English.
• Submissions must follow the JST manuscript format and guidelines available at: https://jst.vn/index.php/ssad/guide-for-authors
• All submissions will undergo blind peer-review in accordance with the journal’s editorial standards.
• Publication fee for special issue’s papers as regular papers: https://jst.vn/index.php/ssad/publishing-option
